Lastricato
Lastricato

Description:

Big news for fans of Lastricato: after operating for 7 years in the same location, in March 2010, this wellloved restaurant is moving to a brand new, two-story space in Kagurazaka 4-chome. The spacious new building will have both a casual restaurant on the ground floor, with standing and counter options, and a calm and comfortable restaurant on the 2nd floor, where guests can enjoy a leisurely Prix Fixe or Course of the Day. The concept of Lastricato focuses on a variety of naturally farmed vegetables which are used in most of their dishes. This method has allowed the owner/chef Mr. Hasumi to effectively mix Italian and Japanese cuisine in a way that has become very popular in recent years. Mr. Hasumi spent four years living in Italy learning the authentic methods used by the country’s chefs. After spending so much time there he was able to truly understand the culture and brought that welcoming and friendly atmosphere to his Japan-based restaurant. Visit their website for up-to-date information on their new location and opening dates.
