Peter
Peter

Description:

The element of illusion is an essential part of the dining experience on offer at Peter, which is located on the 24th floor of The Peninsula Tokyo. Peter serves internationally inspired cuisine set in a modern interior with breathtaking 360-degree views of Tokyo. Guests use private elevators to access a theatrical environment that has been created by renowned architect and design team Yabu Pushelberg. A lounge bar features a bar counter and seating area with chrome polished trees highlighting the link with Japanese nature and the Imperial Palace Gardens and Hibiya Park below, while the restaurant features round “pods” concealing private dining areas and an interactive video wall providing images and entertainment. Visitors enter the main dining area via a “stage,” which has been added to create an experience that comes in bits and pieces. Chef de Cuisine Patrice Martineau creates international cuisine with an emphasis on fresh ingredients, simple preparation and healthy eating. Signature dishes include Raw Otoro Tuna with Oscietra Caviar, Sendai Beef Brisket Confit and Cacao Chocolate Dome, which are all available as part of the selections on offer in the set dinner course. Set lunch courses are available from ¥4,800, and set dinner courses from ¥8,500. Courteous and friendly service makes Peter a welcoming place for high-power business lunches or intimate evening dinners.
